Intro Here is our somewhat delayed review of June racing (someone went racing on the publishing weekend and is now catching up). Fantastic weather and loads of racing made for a fun month for most. Without further delay, here is how our riders got on in their  various clubs. CRMC Cadwell park was the next round for the CRMC. A sunny and warm weekend met Andrew Green, Ben Murfin, David Williams, Gavin Heggs, Mike Burke, Mick Rudd and Symon Woodward along with associate members Joe Woodward, Živilė ‘Ziv’ Žukauskaitė and finally John Walton and Roy Dale on the tools. Woodward eying another pass on Green - PJM Photography Green, Heggs, Rudd and Sy Woodward made up a good sized RAFMSA presence in the 250 air cooled class aboard their RD250. The first race saw Green and Woodward up front with Heggs and Rudd side by side a short way back on the grid. Green and  Woodward were never more than a second apart throughout the race.   Intro This month we see the return of many familiar faces as clubs met at top racing circuits all over the UK. We are also getting, not just our first, but the first three road races of the year both in Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. So grab yourself a brew, get comfy and get ready to read about some fantastic racing from the Royal Air Force Motorsports Association’s Motorcycle Road Racers. CRMC When you think of racing in Wales, most will think of Anglesey, North Wales’ very own Phillip island. Wales however has another, surprisingly good race circuit built on the former RAF Pembrey airfield. Pembrey circuit has been used for Formula 1 testing in the past but now it has the honor of the return of the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club for its second round. With Gavin Heggs deployed and Simon Allen otherwise engaged, it was left to Andrew Green, David Williams and Symon Woodward to fly the flag for the RAFMSA along with associate members Joe Woodward and Živilė ‘Ziv’ Žukauskai...

Intro A month further into 2023 and not only is the weather a bit warmer, the racing has certainly heated up. We have the first round from the RAF classic racing team in the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club (CRMC) where we have some added thoughts and photographs from one of our new riders Benjamin ‘Murf’ Murfin who got to experience getting stuck in at his first club level racing event. We also have round two for the No Limits Racing (NLR) club along with their interservices championship and a host of other club racing meetings to round out a busy April. This month we have 12 of the RAFMSA MCRR’s riders in 3 events over March so let’s get into what they have been doing. CRMC The first round of the CRMC was held at Darley Moor this year. Darley remains a Marmite track for the team, being much loved by “King of Darley” David Williams and loathed by pretty much everyone else. Williams was joined by RAF classic racing team mates Gavin Heggs and Symon Woodward with support from John Wa...
